I really have my heart set on Le Cellier's early dinner for the Candlelight Processional Dining package and the late show. I think this is going to be a tough ask, particularly for our dates, so I'm hoping all you Dis experts can help me! What is the best way to go about securing our reservation? I already plan to be up and logged in 5 minutes before they are released with time.gov open so I can refresh and book. Does anyone know if it's better to do this on my phone or on a laptop (which is less likely to glitch?). Can we have multiple people try at the same time or will we interfere with each other and lose our chances of getting it? Any other expert tips, strategies or suggestions?

I think the answer is yes? I'm staying at Art of Animation.
Make sure to take advantage of your 60+10 ADR advantage. I have had more luck on my desktop than on the phone. I'm not sure we can determine, as of yet, which dates will be most popular as the narrators haven't been announced yet? The pricing for these packages, particularly for Le Cellier, have risen substantially over the past few years - if it's not a super popular narrator, I'm not sure how much competition you will have for this.

Thank you so much!! 🥰 It was a very popular time last year from what I was able to gather so just going off of that and hoping I’m wrong!

Just be ready the day you can make ADRs in the morning. One thing with CP reservations is that they may not be available to reserve when your 60 day window starts. Last year our arrival day was the last day Brendan Fraser was doing the show so we wanted him (sorry Joey McIntyre) but they hadn't dropped CP reservations into the system at our 60 day window. The day they dropped the CP reservations my girlfriend and I set alarms and both tried to make Le Cellier reservations. We were able to get it at roughly the time we wanted, I will say that I think Le Cellier reservations dropped like 10-15 minutes after the other restaurants for some reason. I just remember right at 6am none were available and I booked Coral Reef instead and a little later Le Cellier dropped.

For phone or laptop, I'd just use whichever is more comfortable. You can have more than 1 person searching, at least we do but we were laying next to each other in bed so we could talk to each other to plan easier.

I agree with Marthasor, depending on the narrator will determine the ease of the reservation. Brendan Fraser was a mad house and we glad to have the reservation, later in the week we could've just walked in. We chose Le Cellier because, while yes very expensive, we figured that we may not eat there without the package and by looking at what we wanted to eat it was only like a $15 premium w the package and there was even a higher premium at Coral Reef.

Thank you very very much for all the helpful tips! Will definitely be using this!!

Also, be careful if/when you book. You mention early dinner at LC, and the late CP show. When options appear, verify which show you're paying for. You might see a 4PM option at Le Cellier, but it's for the middle show. Things will move quickly when you're booking, so look for your perfect scenario, but perhaps be open to a slight modification/"plan B" if your first option doesn't work. Good luck. Le Cellier and Candlelight Processional sounds like a really amazing evening!

When are the CP Dining Packages released and is there typically an announcement beforehand?

The timing for the announcement changes every year but it should be soon. Typically you book 60 days + length of your resort reservation if they announce before your booking window starts. If it's after the announcement will include the booking day.

I believe last year, they announced the CP and it's narrators on Thursday October 5th and that booking would start on Tuesday October 17th.
At this point, I would expect the dates this year to be something similar last year. Don't get me wrong though, checking every day is not a bad thing!

We booked Le Cellier with the Candlelight Processional Package last year. We had a 12:20 dining time and the late show. The food here is wonderful. We ate here again on our March trip and I plan on booking it again this year for the Candlelight Processional Package.

I have never booked this package before. Can someone explains how it works? When I go to book am I booking the show time and the dining reservation all in one shot? Or do I have to book the dining reservation separately from the show? Just want to be prepared to book as soon as it opens.

I'm thinking of trying lunch at Biergarten (I've never been) and an early show (I think there's usually a 5:15?).

When I booked a couple of years ago, I booked the restaurant and it told me the time. Not sure if that’s still true. But it was a single selection then.

Oh dear, so no way to book an early dinner and late show then? That would be unfortunate :(

If it's the same this year as last, when you go to book the package, it asks which show you want. Then, once you've chosen the showtime, you'll be given the list of restaurants and available time slots. You must eat prior to the show, so if you choose the early show, you'll only see times before the show.

This is exactly what I was looking for. Thanks!

Oh Excellent! Thank you!
