OBI-WAN KENOBI, Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope

I do hope everyone has an awesome SWW. I'll be there on Friday 20th early, around 5am, with my weird orange (I know that's not a color) Darth Vader shirt and my Jedi Mickey cap. I'll hang out for the opening ceremony and later just walk around and maybe do one of the shows. On Saturday I'll be there all day with my white SWW studioscentral t-shirt, all the way till Hoopla. If you see me come say Hi!
I'll also be there every Saturday and some Sundays for the rest of SWW. As soon as I have a schedule I'll post it here. 7 days...counting down

Can only certain items be signed? Do they sell like a photo of the star you can get signed? Can a map be signed?? Boys had special shirts made can they be signed? Never went for autographs before.

That really depends on the celebrity, although I've been to SWW for 8 years and have autographs on hats, backpacks, calendars, books...None of the prior people have given any problems, there are rumors that Anthony Daniel is a bit picky but I don't think he'll give any trouble.
I've seen people getting t-shirt signed. They don't sell pictures but they do give you one for free if you want it.\

we will be there june 3-12. so going to try and hit SWW that first weekend we r there and maybe the following weekend... but not sure since it is our first time if we need more than one day each weekend what do u think?

If you want to do all the shows (Behind the Force, Stars of the Saga, Ray Park's show, Parade and Hoopla) characters and merchandise you need more than one day. Plan on getting in line/spot for shows. parade and Hoopla at least 1/2 hour early, factor lines for characters and breaks for lunch you couldn't do it in one day. It's better to space it out and you'll enjoy SWW more.

My very first SWW - I'm soooo excited!!!

I was a member of the original SW fan club (remember Bantha Tracks?) and had just about every SW poster plastered to my bedroom walls when I was a kid.

My son thinks I'm a total geek and says he doesn't want to be as geeky as me. I tell him that ship has already sailed...

Will the stormtroopers do their pre-show the first weekend? It's our first SWW and my boys are sooo excited to be able to wait in line while the stormtroopers look down on them!


Reason I'm asking is I only saw it listed for weeks 2,2,4 on the tentative schedule that was posted.

I hope so! I thought they did this EVERY Star Wars weekend. It's one of my favorite parts, I'm pretty sure they always do it. Where'd you read the tentative schedule?

I think it may have been last years schedule posted a few pages back. But the stormtrooper pre-show had only wks 2,3&4 by it.

Schedule for Wknd 1 opening is hard to judge. It's reminiscent of EMH AM opening, where some previous DISers said there was a pre-show and others who say there wasn't. Park hours show an opening of 8 AM; don't know if they'll do a 7:45 pre-show, and further rumors of 6 AM opening? I wasn't sure to include it or not. The rest of the Wknds show a park opening of 9AM which is more of what past Star Wars openings were. 1st Wknd opening seems to be more up in the air.
