I understand that I can walk from the deluxe resorts to the parks adjoining them but what about from CBR. Can we walk from there to a park or another resort area without crossing a 4 lane busy road? Thanks.

There is not a path or sidewalk that goes from CBR to any park or other resort. The resort is close to Epcot, from what I can figure, Aruba is sort of directly behind the American pavilion at WS (click here for a link to the map of CBR), but Buena Vista Drive is between the resort and Epcot.

Thanks for the reply. When I look at the maps and pictures and I see Epcot, it just seems like there would be a sidewalk. Knowing that I can't walk will help me in my planning.

there is a walkway from mgm that goes through the boardwalk and to Epcot. Its along the little waterway and is a nice walk if the temperature is ok

Yeah, a walkway. I wonder why everything is not connected by walkways. The Epcot/Boardwalk/MGM connection was exactly what I was after. Thank you Space Command.

I take it you haven't visited Disney World before? I think when you get there you will see why everything isn't connected by walkways...even though you may be able to see the Epcot ball as you leave CBR it is really quite a distance and certainly not walkable.

Of course from some resorts there are some possible walks but in general there is alot of expanse between places making walking not possible.

47 sq miles. Bigger than Manhattan. You take a tram in from the parking lot.

Having stayed @ CBR, I wouldn't plan on walking to anything. Even CBR is pretty spread out. (Your own) Car or bus transp. to everything.
