Hold onto your hats---- I've never made an ADR before!! :sad2:

Okay, I've been to WDW 4 times and am planning my 5th visit 8/17-8/24 with the FDP. We are a party of 3 (myself, DH, and DS5)and we have 6 day non-PH tickets, I'd be willing to add PH if it makes this process any easier.

I thought it would be as easy as picking what park when and popping in some TS's. That brings you to what time, how long to allow getting there if you aren't going to dine in the park you're at that day, how to get to resort restaraunts, late breakfast/early lunch or late lunch/early dinner, etc....Needless to say I'm overwhelmed. Not easy to admit since I LOVE to plan everything else about our trips!!

So dining veterans, give me a primer. How do I start this process? Make some suggestions, give me some tips - PLEASE??? I'm begging you!!

Well when I planned out my ADR's I considered what park I would be at each day. Now mind you that we do have park hopping tickets but did not really affect my choice in an ADR. The first day, we do not usually do a park, so I made an ADR for a resort restaurant. Then every day after that whatever park we decided to go to, we have a restaurant ADR for that park. If that made any sense :confused3 If you can plan out what park your going to on what day...it will help you in your decision. Good luck!

Thanks Princess Amy - I'm pretty certain on what parks which day, but two of my days I wanted to leave "open" per se - to get back into a park to do/see more, or in case fantasmic was cancelled the night we were planning on going. How in the world do I try to plan those? That's where I was thinking the PH's might help.

Agreed, depends on your schedule. I would go to the park hours page here on the dis first and map out your parks, then go according to that. You'll probably change about 10 or 15 times like umm...someone else I know :rolleyes1 okay okay it's me, but I want to make sure I have it right, lol. The reason I went to the park hours was because if the park is open late then it's okay to get a later time for dining or early for breakfast, etc. It helped me.

Good luck! :cool1:

Can anyone tell me the range of times for ADR's. Like how early can I book a breakfast and until what time is breakfast served? Same for lunches and dinners. Just so I can get a general idea of an overall plan.
thanks
