Does anyone have any tips for making an ADR for CRT, new to boards. Thanks in advance.

Most people would tell you to call at the 180 day mark at 7am on the dot - better yet, start at 6:50am to ensure you will get through at 7am! I tried this however when trying to book CRT for our honeymoon this month. It did not work.... I actually kept calling and calling and calling and calling and FINALLY about 3 months away from our arrival date I got reservations for CRT for dinner. It was the highlight of our trip for me and I'm so glad I kept on trying!! If you don't get a ressie at first, keep calling back!

Here's what it says. Always call ahead a couple of days to be sure the tips are up to date! :)

If you notice any changes to the directions, please let me know and I'll update this info. Thanks!

First, have all your info ready; date, time, number of guests and have your credit card ready.

This is now pre-paid, unless you are on the Disney dining plan; in the case of the dining plan, they take the CC number to keep it on file for fees in case you don't show up and do not cancel your ADR.

This meal is MUCH easier to get now that it is at 180 days out, it is pre-paid, the price increase, and it's now a character meal for breakfast as well as lunch (dinner does not have all the princesses; just Cinderella downstairs and the Fairy Godmother and the mice for a show/celebration ceremony). So you should get what you want by calling at 7:00a at your actual 180 day mark (calling at 180 days from check-in, they will only release a few tables and they save more tables for the true 180 day mark so your chances are better at 180 days from day you actually want to eat there).

**Here are the latest directions/tips**
For Disney Dining - #407-939-3463:

Call #407-939-3463. Be sure to practice this once before your call day.

First hit option: #1 for the ENGLISH option; NOTE:you must wait till he finishes talking about the "ADRs can be made at 180 days" speech.

Then hit option: #1 as soon as you hear 'if you are calling for Victoria and Alberts'.... NOTE: you do NOT have to listen to the whole speech.

Then hit option: #1 for Orlando Area (this option saves you steps); you do NOT have to listen to the whole message so as soon as you hear "if you are calling from the Orlando area..." hit #1.

Then he 'may' mention a survey at the end of the call and then you should hear music and be on hold OR someone will pick up! Just wait for someone to answer and be ready with all your group's information.

For Disney Travel Co. - #877-939-3732:

Call #877-939-3732. Be sure to practice this once before your call day.

PLEASE NOTE: this number could go away at any time just as the other 800# did.

First hit option: #3 for Dining - NOTE: You can choose this right away; no waiting (unless there is a high call volume message).

Then hit option: #1 as soon as you hear 'if you are calling for Victoria and Alberts'.... NOTE: you do NOT have to listen to the whole message.

Then he 'may' mention a survey at the end of the call and then you should hear music and be on hold OR someone will pick up! Just wait for someone to answer and be ready with all your group's information.

That's it! There are only two options to hit. There is no option for "if you are calling from the Orlando area..." with this phone number.

Just wait for someone to answer and be ready with all your group's information.

Notes:

I noticed when I called early, I did get a high call volume message at the beginning (along with the you can now call at 180 days out) but it went away later in the morning.

I also noticed when I called early, there was no survey message. That also was added later in the morning.

Hope this helps!!! :thumbsup2

Please let me know if these directions become out of date. Thanks!

If you don't get a ressi at 180 days out, keep trying. We got ours about 45 days out!! Don't give up.

Bit of positve news for you. I DID call 180 days out from our trip and got CRT at 7am that morning...so it can happen :)

Like the others say though, don't give up on trying to get your ressie, there can be cancellations at any time!

Good Luck!!
