If you can’t get B&C, try the Fountain at the Dolphin. It has a very similar menu with burgers, sandwiches, and a wide variety of ice cream flavors to eat on their own or in sundaes. Their menu is online if you want to check it out.

We were at WDW for a week in June, and it was fairly busy.

We didn't make a lot of ADR's, so I was checking around every day. It seemed like a lunch, afternoon ADR was always available.

We are going to Disney in a few weeks and have a reservation at Beaches and Cream. We definitely want to do the Kitchen Sink for the experience for our kids. I read somewhere that they offer a 'Chocolate Lovers' kitchen sink which seems like a better option for us. Can anyone confirm that this is still offered?

Yes - my family just had the chocolate lovers’ sink in May, and it’s still listed on the menu.
