Folks, I have been using a wristlet or my pockets to get through security faster. I am getting tired of squashing money, APs, lip balm, etc. into my shorts. I looked into travel vests, but the women's ones are pretty expensive. Can Dis vets give us some tips? Thanks much!

Probably not what you are looking for, but my tip is to use a bag that can fit what you need. I hate having a bunch of stuff in my pockets, so I carry a bag.

I honestly think you either need to have everything in your pockets, or use a bag. And also be aware that they can ask people to empty their pockets, I have seen them do that.

This is what I'm purchasing in a couple of weeks for my Disney trip with my son in June. My phone, debit card, motion sickness medicine will all fit quite nicely! :D

I wish each time to go without a bag to get thru security faster. wishful thinking. i often bring a crossbody lightweight. things just add up and i just can't go a long day without my things. the only other possibility besides a bag or moneybelt or crossbody would be a running buddy or cellphone holder that goes around your wrist, https://www.amazon.com/Sprigs-Banje...+phone+holder&qid=1556491146&s=gateway&sr=8-6
you can put things in it not just cell phone.

Thanks for the good ideas! I was just looking at small cell phone holders @ Amazon! I have some good lightweight shorts with zippers that get a lot of use at Disney. If you wear a Vera Bradley lanyard do you have to go through the bag line? Has anyone tried the hidden wallets that attach to your bra? I know this seems like a lot of effort to avoid security, but my last trip I think I went through security six or seven times in one day! I have seen people have to empty their cargo pockets before -- I try not to carry that much stuff.

I used a Flip Belt sometimes. I’d carry my phone, etc, through the no bag line while wearing the belt flat and empty under my shirt. Once in the park I’d stick my stuff in the belt. Usually carried phone, ID and credit card, $1 poncho, and chapstick.

My wife makes fun of me, but although they're out of style, cargo shorts! I can hold everything we need for the day in my over inflated pants haha

Cargo capris for phone and chap stick - money,AP,DVC card, etc in a clear pouch hanging off a lanyard...I’ve also seen a type of Velcro cuff that fits around your arm that only holds a cell phone that may count as no bag - not sure

We have a family rule...if you can't fit it in your pockets....it stays back at the room. Band aids...and a small tube of sunscreen will fit in pockets. for us, thats my only want. Well, along with wallet and chap stick.

LOL my wife has banned me from wearing those. So its now just above the knee shorts from O'neil only..lol
Note: jorts will get you in divorce court...

I haven't used a bag in years. All my sundresses and shorts or skorts have pockets that will hold my phone. I have one of those pocket things on the back of my phone that will hold my ID, AP, CC, and a folded twenty. If it's going to rain, I just carry an umbrella that has a clip that clips onto my belt loops if I have them, if not, I just loop it around my wrist. I wear my reading glasses on a chain around my neck, a hat on my head and sunglasses on my face. MB on my wrist.

I wear cargo skorts...super comfortable and have pockets that fit my cell phone, lip balm, and small sunscreen. I do have to switch from my normal wallet to a skinny one. The pockets button close so my stuff is secure. There are some cute skorts out there as well as some hideous ones, but it is super freeing and much cooler to go without a bag. The main thing I miss is having a water bottle I can stow. I can ask for a cup of water somewhere but I don't drink as much doing that as I do carrying a bottle around.

Anything security sees that is even a tiny closed pouch or bag they will inspect. And they will make you pull it off of your body and put it on the table.

I don't care if cargo shorts are "in fashion" or out LOL! My husband wears them and puts our ID's,, some cash, and our daily pills in them. We go light and don't find we need that much. I used to carry first aid type stuff, but you can get bandaids, etc from Disney's first aid stations. If we are thirsty, we get free water or buy a drink. So no need for bottled water.
It's just the 2 of us, so the need is small. I know that it is a much different situation for families with small children, but we get by just fine with pockets.

Crazy thought. Maybe I'll buy some men's cargo shorts! Not very fashionable, but functional. It used to be pretty easy to find them for women. I travel mostly with DD, so I have to carry everything. Our trip last month, we made the mistake of entering Epcot at the front. I had a wristlet. we waited about 20 minutes behind people with backpacks and multiple bags. I am always wondering why people without small kids bring in backpacks? Are they sleeping in Britain or France? Thanks for all the good suggestions -- it is helpful to read people's methods.
