Tips needed for Disney Trip

Everyone one this site is great! WE are so excited to be going to disney and stay for 6 days.. Any tips on what Is a MUST SEE let us know... so we fit it in our Itinary!!

Congratulations on your trip!! What are the ages in your group? Where are you staying?

I have 2 kids and they are under 11.. We are staying at the Disney Movie resort.. Not sure which building though.. My one hopes the dalmation and the other hopes the Fantasmic.. My hubby wants the love bug he like the tools on the pics of the hotel he is a mechanic in the Air Force

Are your kids able to ride most the rides or are they under the requirment? If they can get on them, the 3 "Mountains" are a must ride. And if they are brave enough they could tackle ToT. Other must sees are Muppet Vision 4D, Buzz Lightyear, and Kiliminjaro Safari. Rembemer to just enjoy the look of the parks (I find if I use a strict itinerary I never really take the time to notice the scenery). Have a great trip!

Magic Kingdom:
When my daughter turned 12 we went to the barber shop & she had her hair cut. She loved it!
The Crystal Palace is a great place to meet characters, relax & have a good meal.
When DD was nine she loved POC & HM, not to mention SM. They may also like Peter Pan.
Depending on your kids ages they may enjoy Goofy's Barnstormer & Mickey's Toon Town Fair.

Honey I Shrunk the audience (DD was terrified of it when she was 9 & won't go back)
Get the passport for World showcase - DD did it when she was 9 & has loved going back. She loves Epcot!

Kali Rapids (you will get soaked!)
Lion King show
It's tough to be a Bug (long lines, but very short movie)
If your family like roller coasters try the new one in the arcade area (DD loved it I hated all the spinning)
The bird show was great!

TOT ( DD oves it, I hate it)
Rock-n-Roller Coaster (DD loves it)
Indiana Jones Stunk Spectacular!!
Honey I Shrunk the Kids Playground (DD loved it)

Thanks guys you are all Great!! Loving the tips... The oldest DD is able to ride all, the youngest is 42'' so I am hoping she can do alot.. As for the TOT they are all up for it.. that is the 1 big ride my oldest and her Daddy did in 2002.. She loved it.. Didn't have alot of time last time we ran around to much and it was really hot.. She did make sure she got on that one though.. Had no idea about the Fast Pass and this year we do. We are taking our time this year. We have 5nights and 6 days. Now my youngest wants to do it all. She is up for anything. She is going to be my Thrill Seeker..
As for me I am not!!! so if she is up for all this excitement I am in Big trouble.. That is the best of a Family of 4. He took my oldest and I took the youngest last time, SO of course I was in the Kiddie section but she said not this Year Mom...

Check out the Sci-Fi Dine In Theater! A must if you have younger boys!

Don't forget about Carousel of Progress if it is opened at the time you go. It's a classic!!! My kids even enjoyed it.

This is a great nighttime show at MGM. It is so popular, they have a dinner pkg set up around it. It is a combination of music, lights, and charactors that is truly amazing! Pirates of the Caribean and the Haunted Mansion are two of our favorite MK rides. These should be popular with the kids if they have seen the movies. There are special events going on all the time in WDW, you should check their website to see what is going on while you are there.
