I am trying to get everything together for the trip, Saturday will be 30 days!!! I was wondering who did you tip, average amount you tipped and anything else I might be forgetting! Thank you!

Note:I got my EM a gift already & it will be shipped to his office.

We tipped:

EM $80
Rev Jack $30
violinist $20
bagpiper $20
magician & caricature artist $20 each.
dress steamer from carollyn allens, $10
hair & makeup $90 there were 7 of us (3 adults, 4 children)
I can't think of who else.

Disney had a policy on Tipping. Basically you tipped everyone when you paid your bill (the musicians, servers, etc.) I know that for some Disney people they are not allowed to take cash (ie maybe the wedding planners). Disney requires cash tips to be given to charity. The reason I know this is b/c my friend used to be a VIP tour guide and they were not allowed to keep cash tips. I am not sure how it works with the EMs but wanted you to be aware. I think if you send them a gift it is different.

Just my .02 in case anyone was interested.

We had tips for:
Mousekeeping (3 a day we were there)
Reverend Day (it was actually a gift card but he was gone before we could give it to him)
Violinist (30 dollar gift card but he was gone)
Hair/Makeup (30 dolars but she was out the door before I could get it together)

Wow, I always tip a hairdresser, and I knew you would tip an officiant, but I never even thought about something for the EM or the servers at a reception (figure the 20% service charge included that I guess).

I'm really glad someone brought it up - need to add those costs to my list...

I wasn't sure about my EM, so we tipped her, and she gladly accepted it.
As for the servers at the reception, we was going to do this until we realised that we paid a whacking amount in gratuity already!
Tipping here in the UK isn't like the tipping that is done over in the US. Some restaurants might add a service charge for groups of 8 or more, but it is very different to how it is done in the USA.
I found it quite difficult to remember to tip just about everyone during our time there.
