Tips for travelling with little ones, how many days?

It's somewhat of a hassle going back and forth to the hotel. As pp said go back before you think you need to! If you go back pre-meltdown you'll find it very rejuvenating.

As another pp said you don't *have* to take the break every day. You can see how things are going for your family.

But especially with 5 days there's no need to be going strong all day long!

I think it's harder to go back and forth when you have to take a shuttle like you will be doing, especially if you have a stroller that you need to unload and collapse every time you ride the shuttle. I have stayed right across the street (5 minute walk) and it was a breeze to go back to the room for a midday break for my 2 year old. I would still try it especially if you know your youngest will need a break, but know that it be time consuming... just plan for it.

I also echo the advice to make sure you get to the parks before the open to take advantage of the mornings. The later it gets, the more crowded it gets. Afternoons can get super congested in DL especially and hot depending on the time of year. It's a good time for a break. I would try for park opening until 1:00pm or so, then back to the room for a few hours, then back to the parks around 5:00pm. Definitely figure out which days will be the Halloween parties because that will really impact what you do and what time to leave/return (and which park to return to).
