Tips for toddler w/ disability?

Hi,
My family and I have gone to WDW in the past, but this upcoming trip will be our first with our two year old nephew who has cerebral palsy. I was hoping others may be able to share tips for both resorts and parks. I know he will love seeing Mickey and we do plan on taking things slowly, however am not sure what to plan for or of things I may be overlooking in terms of what we may need to take in to consideration for a special needs child.

Any tips/suggestions would be greatly appreciated

Post #6 discusses the Guest Assistance Card which you would probably need, at least to be allowed to use the stroller as a wheelchair.

Can you tell us a little more about him?
My youngest DD has CP, but one child with CP may be very from another child with CP.

Does he walk at all? Starting to talk? Understand what others say to him?
Does he have good head control?
Spasticity (very tight muscles) or hypotonic (like a rag doll)?
Does he have any issues with loud noises or sudden movement?
Things he especially likes or does not like?

It would other posters to give better advice if we know a little more about him.
In general though, a 2 yr old with CP is going to be similar in a lot of ways to a 2 yr old who does not have CP. Many of the same issues - like possibly being scared of the characters because of their size, getting tired and overstimulated, etc.
