I think I did good last trip, but can always use new ideas for shelping stuff around the parks with a toddler, stroller and all our stuff.

I used a Skip Hop diaper bag that attaches to the stroller and left it there for rides - only took it off for restaurant meals and diaper changes. Used a very stylish waist pack for my valuables, had a soft-sided cooler for milk and snacks. Stored blankets, sweats and misc stroller stuff (rainshield, sun canopy) in the stroller basket. Used a totes foldable totebag to dump basket contents in when had to fold stroller for bus or boat.

Anyone have any other tips? I try to carry the bare necessities but January is such an iffy month with weather you need to carry a jacket/sweats.

Love to hear what others do...

I carry a backpack to hold valuables, camera, videocamera, etc. We take an older diaper bag and leave it with the stroller. If the diaper bag is stolen, it won't be that big of a deal.

If we will be out late (& it will get cold), we may put some jackets or sweats in a locker and get them later.
