Oh, I can relate, JeniC! I had it pretty bad from month 2.5 to month 3.5, and all day, too.
Here's the bad news: nothing really helped, and I tried everything from prescribed drugs, to crackers, to old wives tale stuff I am embarrassed to admit. All I can recommend is don't fight it, it only makes it worse. I got used to, whenever I had the feeling, just going into the bathroom and getting it over with. If you don't fight it, it becomes really quick, easy and painless! Boom, and it's over, and you feel great for a while. I can remember eating plain spaghetti with butter and salt, getting a third of the way into it, getting the feeling, doing a quick barf, and finishing my dinner!
Here's the GOOD news: it almost always goes away in a month or two. Your body is just getting used to the new hormones. Those of us with bodies that were obviously very attached to the OLD hormones just have to suffer a bit more! And when it goes away (which it will!) you will be RAVENOUS, and you can eat, and eat, and eat without feeling bad about it!
