Tips for getting out a dirt stain

My daughter's Hapkido uniform has a big dirt stain on the leg. It's supposed to be hand wash/cold only, no bleach, drip dry. I used Spray n Wash and put it through the washer on cold. The stain faded, but is still very visible. Next I put a scrubby gel on it and washed it in warm water. Still visible.

Next steps? Should I go ahead and chance the bleach? If so, how? I honestly have never used bleach in the laundry. I'm not sure what else to do with the pants!
