We plan to fly with our 2 & 5-year-olds for the first time, and I am looking for any tips or suggestions you may have. I haven't flown since 2000, and I know the procedures have changed since then. Would you recommend taking the carseat on the plane for the 2-year-old? Please give me all the advice you have! Thanks in advance!

I would take the car seat for a 2 year old. When my kids were that age, they sat very well in the car seat on the plane. I think it's more familiar to them, so they feel more at ease, especially if there's any apprehension about flying. Also, you'll need to make sure you have a window seat for the car seat.
