Hello,
im new here, so glad i found this!
so i've been to Disney Paris a few times now, and next march will be the first with my 3 year old son, i have looked at a package and got it at £803, by doing hotel only dining (planning take pack lunches in park) and doing the cheap hotel... my question is would booking my flights seperate be cheaper? ive looked at flybe, as i know its would be cheaper than airfrance etc...and any other tips would be great, we coming from manchester UK xx

At the min, its cheyenne, but not booked yet, as looking for best price, my mum did disney on £1200, everything included flights aswell, and no idea how lol. We were going January 2017, but with so many attractions closed, we decided March, but as said haven't booked yet, wanna get as much info as possibel as its me, my husband and our 3 year old, i was a single pringle last time :) xx

Have you been cheyenne before?

No, ive always stayed at Santa Fe, but thats coming up more expensive for some reason? and fancied a change from same hotel all the time :) xx

i usually budget around £120 per person for all travel and transfers etc, and for your family (as your son is free onsite) I'd be budgeting for around £400 for onsite hotel, park tickets and breakfast for you all, especially in January-March (cheapest time of the year to go). I wouldn't add a meal plan at all if you're on a budget.

Do Easyjet fly from Manchester or Liverpool? I'm in Nottingham, I fly from Luton with Easyjet, rarely pay more than £70 return (and I'd only add one hold case at the most for your family, as Easyjet has a very generous hand-luggage allowance).

Agreed with Elaine, meal plans rarely offer good value unless they are free and even then it's debatable depending on where you were planning on eating.

Many people eat at McDonalds or Earl of Sandwich (my preference over the two) in the Village as they are reasonable. Also, there is a little shop in the train station that used to sell sandwiches and snacks - might still be there and worth looking at if on a budget. If you can afford to eat in the parks, then go for a counter service and share it. Pizza meals at Colonel Hathis in Adventureland would do 2 adults - you could get an extra side i.e. fries and it might do the 3 of you with your DS being little. Fuente del Oro in Frontierland is another that does larger portions but is Mexican based so maybe not so good for your DS.

We always fly with Air France (and from our airport FlyBe codeshare so it's the same flight) - there's rarely any good deals and we always end up paying a fair bit for flights! Easyjet used to fly but haven't for a few years.

Ok thanks..the breakfast us included anyway with the hotel..and we used to make sandwiches etc from the buffet in the morning and take it in park, then have maccies for tea...might look at skipping the meal plan all together then, and do that, since the breakfast us all you can eat, i'll stock up! lol.
Its the flights that make it so expensive to be honest.. i cant do ferry coz i cant get to dover, and same for the eurostar coz it doesn't drop anywhere near us and we live in Warrington, doesn't go through Manchester either i don't think so a plane is our only option xx

It might be worth pricing up the Eurostar. If you book well in advance you can get to London from Warrington on the train for about £20 per adult (sometimes cheaper). Your DS would be free as Im sure its free for under 5s. The direct Eurostar tends to leave early morning so you might need to stay in London the night before but can get a cheap Travel Lodge close by for about £50 and this adds to the adventure

By the time you've paid for your transport from home to the airport or parking at the airport and then your transfer from the airport at Paris to DLP it can work out cheaper

That sounds good thankyou, is there a website for the eurostar i can look at? every1 thinks im mad plannign so far in advance, but need to really once it adds up :) xx

heres the eurostar website -

http://www.eurostar.com/uk-en

its too early to look for fares for next march though, fares are generally available to book around 10 months prior to travel.
