Tips for dealing with plantar fasciitis at WDW?

I've had bad plantar fasciitis for about 15 years. On our most recent trip I wore high arch Birkenstocks with Band-aid Friction Block every day and massaged my feet with lotion every night. My feet felt great! On every other trip my feet felt terrible by the end of the night. I'm going to try the peppermint Epsom salt thing that was mentioned as soon as I can find the stuff, lol. That sounds helpful.

You can try different shoes, I know The Walking Company has many great albeit expensive choices. Your best bet would to get off your feet and rent an EVC like I had to do.

I was having a very bad time with pf. I went to a podiatrist and he made a mold of my feet and had some inflexible inserts made for me. I also got a cortisone shot in one heel. I haven't had a lick of problem ever since. I'm diligent about only wearing shoes with closed heels so I can always wear my inserts.
