We have a cruise booked for December of 2016. My husband offered to pay for my in laws deposit if they wanted to join us. Tonight they let us know that they have decided to. Does anyone know how this works with a travel agent? Should I call and set up the reservation and have them make all future payments? If so, what kind of info do I need from them? Our agent has had our info for years so I don't even remember what they have at this point. Just wanted to see if anyone had insight on how this will work tomorrow.

I have booked staterooms for our adult children and their families using a TA. You will need all the names and birth dates of the other people traveling. Not sure about having your in laws making future payments, since I made complete payments for all the rooms.

Last year I booked for my mom and my family. When I booked her stateroom I had all of info (as mentioned above), used my credit card for the deposit and she used her credit card to pay the balance. Disney does not keep credit card info on file is what I was told. Also be sure to give the agent your parents email address so they, your parents, can access their booking. It was very easy, no hassle.

Best, 3fish
