What are your best or lesser known tips for making the most of a stay at these resorts? We have a split stay coming up at BCV and CC. I read somewhere to walk over to Boardwalk for a better chance to get a seat on the boat to HS. Any tips or advice like that are much appreciated. We havent stayed at BC in several years and never at WL.

I would not walk all the way over to BWI to get a seat on the boat. Take the shorter walk to the boat dock at EP IG (which is closer to BCV than the BC/YC boat dock) and get on the boat there. That's where the boat originates and it's closer to your resort.

Those are our two favorite resorts. :) Plan your trip so that you concentrate on MK when you are staying at the WL and go to Epcot and DHS when staying at the BC. The boat to MK is the most enjoyable way to get there from WL. For the BC, we prefer to walk to DHS rather than take the Friendship boat, but we haven't had any problems with crowded boats from the YC dock. The only time we've had to wait for a second boat was right at park opening. Otherwise it has been fine.

You can walk way faster than the friendship boats can travel, thanks to all the stops they make. so I prefer to walk down to Swan/Dolphin, and catch the boats there to get to HS, as that is the last stop (the walk from Swan/Dolphin to HS is doable, but can be really hot and icky. Its the only part I'm willing to board the boat for)

We didn't have any trouble getting the boat from BC (stayed at BCV most recently last August) to HS but pp is correct, from BCV it's closer to walk over to the IG at Epcot and catch the boat there. If you're leaving from BC closer to the main lobby (for instance, if you stopped for breakfast there on the way out) then leaving from BC/ YC (the little lighthouse) is fine. I wouldn't walk over to BWI to get the boat.

WL is our all time favorite resort! It is lovely and just a quick trip to MK. The quiet pool is amazing. Watching the Electric Water Pageant from the beach is always great fun. Geyser Point is great for a quick bite to eat. If it’s a rainy day, ask for a Hidden Mickey hunt sheet from the front desk. Take a break in front of the amazing fireplace. (Now I’m missing it☹️).....I think you will love it. Have a great trip!
