Tips for August

We were wavering between last week of August and early November. We've decided on August because it looks like lots of ride closures in Nov and since we're not sure when we will be back, wanted to see as much as possible. So, are there any tips for visiting in the peak of summer? Should we plan on dining package for WOC or dessert pkg for Fantasmic so that we are guaranteed a view? Anything else along those lines that would help us get in as much as possible in 5 days or so? And one more question, I am not really clear on early morning entry vs toontown morning madness....what are the differences between those? Similar to EMH at WDW? We are prob staying at DLH if that makes a difference. Thanks.

No need to plan on special seating to get a better view. Especially for WOC a dining package does not guarantee much of anything.

With 5 days you will have plenty of time so I would not worry about that.

Toontown MM is a special thing for Toontown and I cannot think of anything like it at WDW. And it is not that big a deal. The current EMH at DLR is the most similar to WDW except it is only in the mornings. On the other hand, the standard park hours at DLR in the summer have the parks opening earlier and staying open later than at WDW so you do not need EMH at night.
