..But is going on Decemeber 8th!! :woohoo: I was told it was a trip to Brussels but since I had a massive sulk on the subject (I'm a teen ~ I can't help it!) my parents decided to tell me the truth and said we are going to Disneyland Paris! :goodvibes Of course I feel slightly guilty but I hope that all goes away when we get there!

We leave on Friday the 8th of Decemeber via Eurostar like we always do. We haven't been in a long time; I think it was around the time MGM came around. So does anyone have any tips for me as I return to the Magic again? Any tips welcomed! :goodvibes

Also please note that we get there on a Friday, so if anyone has any ideas on what needs to be done on that day (i.e. the longer rides) please tell me!

Matt great to see you over on the DLP boards :thumbsup2

What a great surprise :goodvibes Christmas time is the best season to go to DLP IMHO. Be ready to wrap up as it can be quite cold, so layers are the order of the day. :thumbsup2

Hi Matt

Not sure how long you're staying but Saturday and Sunday will no doubt be busy so best to get going early and like Crokette said get fastpasses. You can hold a fastpass for all the rides at the same time at DLRP.

Any questions just ask away. :goodvibes

Whoa, whoa, whoa! WareBears....am I understanding this correctly? You can get fastpasses for all the rides, and not have to wait for a certain period of time?

As an example...

At Disneyland in CA, if you get a FP for a ride at 9 am, and that FP starts to be valid at 10:30, you can't get another FP until 10:30 (I know, this might vary some, but I'm using these times as an example). So *technically* you can have a FP for the first ride and get a second one while the first one is still within it's hour window for riding (at DL, it doesn't seem to matter if you show up at any time after the 'start' time; you don't get turned away).

But, you could technically go around and get FPs? Can you get multiple ones for the same ride? (Imagine! Getting several FPs for Space Mtn and then several for another ride right away...)

Two trips ago, I was at BTMRR and was getting FPs. A young man next to me needed help in using the machines, so I walked him through the process before I got my FPs. I put in our tickets (something like 9 of them), and I believe I got more than 20 FPs back! It was shooting out FPs like a slot machine! I shared some of them with the young man I'd just helped who was looking at this spectacle in utter amazement. :cool1:

Ah, good times... :dance3:

Oh, the sheer idea of this is dizzying, but I won't let myself get too excited until I hear back from you!

take a coat... its freeezing there!!!

Fast passes can be held for each ride in DLRP.

Make sure you do all the big rides and Peter Pan on friday as the weekend is sooo busy. The world and his wife seem to be there in december at the weekend.

That's exactly what we saw some teens doing. The had FP's for all the rides and were planning their afternoon at lunch.

You cannot hold more than one for each ride, but when you window time opens you can get another before using the exisiting one. Mind you that's if there are any left. Peter Pan is normally out of FP's by 12 noon :)

To clarify a couple of things, we are staying at the Newport Bay hotel. We have been there before, and we did plan to go to the Disneyland Paris Hotel itself but they were booked. We only just got 2 rooms there so I guess we are going to be opposite sides of the hotel.

We are traveling by Eurostar, first class. Again, not by choice of my parents; no room in regular.. That was lucky in our favour! :lmao:

Veeerrrry interesting!

In some ways, I can see FPs for Peter Pan because the queue is usually long at DL (but in other ways, it sort of boggles my mind).

So...is there a thread somewhere that lists what are the 'hot' FP rides; where to go first and collect your passes?

Here's yet another question: if you have one of the VIP FPs, and all the attraction FPs are 'out,' does your VIP FP still get you access?

Hey Guys, what new rides are there? Bear in mind I haven't been since MGM came out.. :)

Buzz Lightyear will be the newest ride as well as a changed Space Mountain :goodvibes

In the Studios you'll find Rock 'n Roller Coaster, the Moteurs Action stunt show and Cinemagique, amongst others. :thumbsup2

The Studios is usually quieter than the Disneyland Park - so will be a good place to head on Saturday and/or Sunday afternoon. :)

Our plan was to get the Studios out of the way quickly since it is a lot smaller and quieter. :)

Sounds Fab Reid. We went to Buzz Lightyear in WDW and it was so cool, so I hope the DLRP one is just as good. :goodvibes Don't know if i'll go on Space Mountain though since I am a big baby when it comes to those sorts of rides, but knowing my brother he probably will. :)

The pictures of the Buzz Lightyear at DLP look like the Buzz at DL, where you can pick up the blaster and move it around. The blasters on the WDW ride are fixed to the front of the seat and you can't pick them up.

So, if you liked 'em at WDW, you'll *love* them at DLP!

That's right, it makes it much more fun although I don't think it improved my score!
