Tips for a Beginner!

I appologize for being a pest! But I just want me and my disneygf to have a good time! It will be her birthday during the trip. For instance, I was told we could get a "it's my birthday" pin. Is this true? Where do I get one? Should I notify PC and tell them it's my gf's birthday so they'd be able to aknowledge it for her birthday? How about tips for finding a good view for the parade.. Again, sorry for being a pest!

I need every kinds of tips you could think of.

p.s. we wiill be there for 8 days (jul8-16)

You can get the birthday pin at guest services at any park. Just ask! I think that some good views (albiet very crowded) are right on Main Street facing the castle. I'm sure others have better tips for parade/fireworks viewing than me though.

If you are staying onsite you can ring the front desk and they will send your DGF a card signed by a character with some balloons and a towel animal.

Here's a link to some dining/cake options. We celebrated my DDs 6th birthday at 1900 Park Fare in the GF. Some restaurants will allow you to custom order a personalized cake, most others will provide you with a special dessert. Search around, I am sure you'll find more. Have a great trip!
