Tips for 1st Resale Purchase - Closing Process?

Hello all, 1st time DVC resale purchaser. I just received the contract docs from the broker - I am going to go over those closely this weekend. Does anyone have any tips on things to look out for and double/triple check, or know the areas where issues had been common at this stage? Would greatly appreciate it!

Also, would anyone know if the title company DVC Title & Escrow charges credit card fees?

Just make sure your names are correct, and everything lines up with what you agreed to in terms of the pts and Use Year, etc. DVC Title and escrow will take a CC for the deposit, i dont think they charged me a CC fee, the balance will be with a Bank Check or Wire transfer i think.

Going along with the points be sure that the point types are what they said, are they current UY points? Banked? In holding? If they're anything but what was agreed upon you usually can get refunded about 20 dollars per point for each point that was not input correctly. One of mine had 15 banked points that were supposed to be all from the current UY and I wasn't sure at the time if we'd be able to use them so we received 300 dollars in compensation for the points.
