Tips at SSR

Can you watch "behind the scenes" on the internet?
If you're staying at SSR, and playing golf, don't they provide transportation from your villa to the pro shop?

not sure about the behind the scenes. im sure you could find it. its like 4 one hour shows on stuff most people dont know about disney. not a bad watch.

I am not sure about the shuttle service but i am not afraid of a little walk either.

We just got back from SSR. Have stayed there twice now and just love it. We own at BLT also. Congress Park is great for it's proximity to DTD and it is a very short walk to the main pool and the golf club. Bus service is very good, we rarely had a crowded bus going to or coming from parks. I'm sure you will enjoy it!!!!!

We have stayed in all of the sections at SSR and where we stay depends on our plans. Congress Park is for walking to DTD and Grandstand is for walking to the main area plus for the 1st bus stop. The Springs is close to the main area, but as mentioned before it is the last bus stop for the parks (1st for DTD). It is also the drop off for the treehouse villa shuttle so this week it has been pretty busy and we have seen people have to wait for another bus.

You may already know this little tip but if you call bell services they will pick you up at your room (along with your golf clubs!) and drop you off at the clubhouse at the Lake Buena Vista course. You can pick up your club rentals there unless you traveled with your own. Just let bell services know what time your tee off time reservation is for. We stayed at Congress Park and DH really liked not having to walk over with his clubs.

i did know about the bell services but i think it will depend on where i am staying on the property. at springs its not a far walk. i will be asking for there first. Then the one near the gc. any further and i may have to use bell services.

on the transportation thing, we always drive. and we always have a character bfast in a park so we are alwasy there early. renting a car is by far the best option for my DW as she is a little shal we say, overly punctual.
