We are going to Orlando in July. We can't remember how much the % is for tipping. Can you remind us as we do tip here but it isn't to bump up the wages like in the USA.

About 18% - 20% is an average tip for a meal, give more for good service or less if service is poor. Also to help you out, $1 per case for Bellboy who helps with luggage to/from your room and $1 or $2 if you are collecting a car from valet. Also house keeping is generally $1 a day per person in the room.

Those are the general ones.

Claire ;)

Standard tipping for meals is 15%, 18-20 is for very good service. If you give 15% you will be in the majority. I don't tip housekeeping unless I've asked them to do something special or left a lot of trash.

We usually tip 15-20% for meals, $1 per bag for luggage assistance, and $3-5 per day to housekeeping (depending on how much of a mess we leave behind - I've been known to leave more if it's really bad).

this is just what I do

servers 18-20%
Bell boys 1 dollar a bag
Housekeepers depends on how messy we are
Valets- 5 dollars a time we use it

I tip between 15-20% for sit down meals and 10-15% for buffets. Will tip more if service is exceptional :thumbsup2
