Tipping towncar service

We are using Sunray for our Universal trip this weekend. I found a coupon that took the rate down to $82 roundtrip from $90. As far as tipping goes, should we tip based on $45 each way (i.e. $9 or $10 each way) , or just tip once at $18? I know it depends if we get the same driver both ways, but I really don't want to chance that. Will the driver think we are cheap if we give him $10 on arrival day and $10 in departure day? TIA!

Personally, I'd never choose to tip someone in advance of the service being provided.
