Tipping the Town Car Driver

We used Prestige Town Car last Sept for our first trip and they were wonderful. We tipped $20 each way from MCO to ASMo. They charged $80 RT, with no charge for carseats and a 30 min grocery stop. We had never used this type of service before, I'm assuming we tipped enough. We plan on using them again next trip (hopefully this Sept) so if this wasn't enough can someone let me know.

Thanks;)

I always tip about 20% each way. That is, 20% of the one-way fare. You may not get the same driver going back.

I asked the very same question last year. You'll receive several replies ranging from $10 per trip to whatever you want!!

However.......The norm at the time last year was $15.00 per trip. But if you felt that your driver went beyond what he should do as a driver, then increase your tip! It's really up to you. Personally, unless the driver was totally obnoxious, :) I don't think I'd tip less than $15.00

We used Fl. Tours last year and our driver was the best. Not only was he on time at the airport, but he made us feel very comfortable. And since it was our first time in a limo with the grocery stop, he told us "don't rush or you'll forget something". We did infact keep to the time allowed in all fairness to him. But I did tip him $20. And he was my return driver and I tipped the same.

I hope this helped....

I usually tip $10 each way, but lately I've been flying on by myself, so there isn't very much luggage involved. That equals about 25% on an $80 round trip fare.
