Tipping the Concierge Staff???

When do you tip your concierge staff? Do you at all? We have had some wonderful help in pre-planning, but I don't know if I will encounter this CM on our trip. What do I do?

I have to be honest and this is my 2 cents. I don't tip the concierge, I chose to pay the extra money on a room that is no different then the other rooms but I am going to get the added touches that it takes to make a vacation just that much more special. I hope I didn't offend anyone thinking this way. I do leave money each day for the maid, I feel they don't get paid enough and most of the maids at Disney go the extra mile to clean the rooms

My planner has been awesome! I did send down a little gift and will bring her something when I go. You usually don't see the planners, but Alana is going to come over to see me at the BW. I always give a small gift to the CMs at the Innkeeper's Club. I feel they go above and beyond "normal" guest services for my family and me. This year my son's in-laws are also coming, so we have 3 rooms. I usually bring something relative to New England for them. My son is a manager for Pepsi and sent all th CMs at the Innkeeper's Club t-shirts, visors, pens and something else.
They all say they are only doing their job, but I feel they could use a nice thank you gift every now and then.
