Tipping Question

We are a family of 5 traveling from PHL to MCO.

Two tipping questions (my husbands doesn't like to tip, he'd rather do it himself)

If we take a shuttle from the hotel to the airport for our departure, how much should we tip the driver assuming he helps with the luggage?

To save time I would like to check our bags at the curb with the skycabs for Airtran at the airport. We would be checking 5 suitcases and 2 duffle type bags. Any idea of what I would tip?

If you take a shuttle, I'd probably give the driver a buck per bag, and maybe an extra buck or two for the driving.

I always give the skycap a buck a bag as well.

I am very generous with the skycaps as they let a lot of oversize stuff go through and they get my boarding passes and generally make my life so much easier. I tip 2-2.50 per bag. In your case, I would had the guy somewhere between 10 and 15. But, if you feel a dollar is enough, then go for that.
I don't take shuttles, so, I cannot help there.

I'd take good care of the sky cabs in Philly...otherwise you might not see you luggage!! I'd recommend at least $2.00 a bag...does Airtran have curbside in Philly??? I didn't think they did!
