So, we have been looking into trying the dining plan for our next long trip. But, we like to use gift cards for our purchases and stay away from swiping our CC/Debit card or using cash. minimalist in the park.

So, is there a way to leave a tip when using the dining plan other then cash? Can you ask them to charge a GC or charge it to the room? It seems weird but I thought I would ask.

You absolutely can do this. We have done it with Disney GC's, but you could also easily charge it to the room.
