Tipping/Onboard Account Question

I understand at the end of the Cruise You can either put cash into the envelopes they give you and give them to the crewmembers or you can go to guest services and charge the tips to your onboard account. You will receive cards showing the amount you tipped. You then put the cards in the envelopes and present them personally to the servers and steward.

My question is.........If I want to pay my onboard account with Disney dollars can I still charge the tips to our onboard account?
