Hi All-

We finally got into CRT this trip! We knew that we pre-paid for the meal, but didn't know how much or if the tip was included...so I just asked the waiter. He wouldn't really answer me, but said that he would get my check. When he brought it, (he was super nice and politically correct), he asked that we do the math on the tip even though it stated the percentage -- and the math worked out to about 12-13%!! I found out that there s some sort of ligitation going on to try to rectify the situation, but that some of the "tip" goes for the pictures and other fees. Needless to say, he was great, and we made sure that he was getting 18%. I really do not know that entire circumstances behind this, so do not want to comment or lash out at anyone, or what other restaurants this might apply to -- but I do ask that if your "tip" is already figured out, please take the time to do the math and make sure that the great service you get (IF you get that service) is rewarded.

You may wnatto check your receipt again because when I calculated my total for CRT, it included an 18% tip (we have a party of 11).

My understanding is that the FL tax is built in to the price of the meal and that the tip is over and above depending on your party size.

i'm pretty sure the receipt literally read 18% gratuity on it, so i didn't give it any thought. that photo package i think is priced at $30+tax or so. i know that when you apply the DDE discount, it doesn't seem as great as it should be.
