Tipping MDR servers

When you go to the MDR's for breakfast and lunch or to the buffets like Cabanas and Beach Blanket Buffet, do you routinely tip the servers?

We do not. Many of the servers in the MDR work all the meals/food stations. We figure they are covered by the gratuities already in place.

Thanks for asking! We pre-paid gratuities and I was wondering if you choose to go to cabanas for dinner instead of the MDR do you need to tip them or is it included. I think everything except room service tip is included.

Your main tips cover all your meals at all the venues. I have heard of people leaving cash tips at Cabanas for dinner but very few from the posts I have read. There is no need to tips at MDR's for breakfast or lunch or other dining venues except Palo/Remy.

Thanks for clearing that up. I would feel horrible if I didn't leave one and then found out later that I was supposed to have. Good to know all is included (except Palo/Remy).
