We are heading to Punta Cana for Spring Break to the Grand Bahia Principe Bravaro all-inclusive. When we have gone to Beaches Negril, tipping did not occur at the resort except for the transfers. I am hoping Punta Cana is the same way. Does anyone have experience there?

Sandals and Beaches have a strict no tipping policy.

All other All inlcusives we've been to have not. Some people tip and some do not. We prefer to tip small amounts at time of service to all bartenders, housekeeping, servers, etc.

We stayed at an adults only all inclusive in Punta Cana this past December. We brought $100 in one dollar bills with us. Tipping the housekeepers, servers, and bartenders is very much appreciated. We got exceptional service the whole time we were there.

We always tip ,even in places it is discouraged .

We always tip, even if the tips are included. The people working there have so little, that a few American dollars always brings a giant smile to their faces :)

We have always tipped in Punta Cana. They don't expect a lot. We usually leave $5 a day for the housekeeper in the fridge. Then we tip the waiters a few dollars at every meal. Bartenders also get a tip. I would say we never spend over $100 in tips and that's including the transfers and bellhops.

We stayed at the Bahia Principe Akumal in Mexico and it was awesome! I hope you enjoy Punta Cana it's our favorite vacation destination.
