Tipping for Room Service

How much do people usually tip for room service? My wife and I are in a Cat 3 room, and were wondering. Any input?

I believe we did a $1 an item or $4 max.

We tipped $2.00 each time they came to the room with room service. This time I have gotten some 2$ bills to tip with. I heard they like that.....anyone know if thats right???

I tipped $2 for two people, each time they delivered the goodies. Best bargain on the ship!
