Tipping at Palo??

Wondering what is the suggested tipping for 2 at Palo?

There is a charge of $10.00 per person when you go to Palo...it is up for speculation if this charge is the tip or just a surcharge to eat at the restaurant....it is always a matter for discussion on this board.

Pesonally when we go for dinner, we leave a cash tip (this way it goes right to your server). I do not base it on what a shore side restaurant would be as some do....I just think of an amount and leave it...maybe $10-15. It is all up to you.

You will not be made uncomfortable if you do not want to leave anything...it really is not expected. We have always had outstanding service so we choose to leave something extra.

We also leave a cash tip at Palo...we treat it as we would any other upscale meal in a fine dining establishment. Service is very important.

When we were on the magic..we left a very large tip every time..as our server was spectacular. We didn't have to ask for anything..he took such good care of us. We are hoping he is still there in May.

When we were on the wonder..we left 20% of what we though the dinner would be for three people..as the service was lacking the whole way through.

For two people the meal at Palo would easily be $125 plus in any land restaurant.
