Since you pay in advance for the tickets - do you just leave the tip on your table and assume your waiter will get it? Also do you tip on the whole amount you paid for tickets even though some of that amount you paid is for the entertainment?

I've never been to a dinner theater before so any tips would be appreciated.

Also - how much of a bother is it to request water to drink?

Thanks,
Kimba

Just leave your tip (full amount) on the table. Depending on which dinner show you are visiting, the servers work VERY hard and you really are tipping them for a job well done. It's amazing how much work some of them have to do (Pirates, Dixie, Arabian Nights, Medieval Times especially).

You should have plenty of chances to ask for water, refills, etc. The servers pass by on a fairly regular basis.

I will make sure to have cash on hand for the tips!
