Two years ago we turned up nice and early for MK,no one was allowed onto the monrail and as dozens than hundreds of people amalgamated there I asked what was happening. What had happened was the clocks had gone back and ourselves and obviously countless other people hadn't realised! So instead of arrivng at MK early by the time we got to go in it was absolutely packed immediately.

We went to MGM this October on the day after the clocks went back and I thought the same thing couldn't happen agagin, but it did.We got there about 9.15 and MGM was packed.Usually that early we walk onto TOT about 3 times and at 9.15 we queued 45 mintes for one ride:( The fast pass time was about 3pm and when we went to WWTBAM the fast passes had gone for the whole day.

Moral of my story....if you are there the Sunday after clocks change avoid any theme parks,do something else that day.Or you will spend a frustrating day that is a waste of time!::yes::

Kazzie,
You got me thinking over this one surely if the clocks go back you are ahead of everyone else, ie when you think it's 8 am it is actually 7am as the clocks have gone back. I can see this being a problem in March/April when the clocks go forward as when it is 7am it is actually 8am and you loose an hours sleep.
Or on the other hand do you mean that as everyone had an extra hour in bed they were up earlier than 'normal' and therefore out and about earlier??
Claire

Claire,,but I'm sure you're right so I really don't understand how.

I think you're right:eek: It definitley happened to me at MK and MGM was heaving at 9.15.Anyways take it as a tip for Spring clock change then;)

..... but you do gain an hour in WDW - that can't be bad!

I hate being there when the clocks go forward and I know I'm losing an hour of precious vacation time!
