Tip Question

We are going in September for free dining. First time on dining plan. Reservations are made. So my question is how do we pay the tip? Is it automatically added to our room key or can we pay cash for the tip?

There is a "suggested" tip amount on your receipt, but that's just a guideline as you can tip at your discretion. On our December 2010 trip we had the DlxDDP and I used a gift card for all of our tips and it worked out very well. But as the pp said, tips can be paid in any form (gc, cash, cc, charged on KTTW card).

Make sure to ask server in beginning of meal for receipt so you can tip them properly. Several time I didn't get normal itemized receipt just print out of what was suggested plus credits that where used.
