Hello fellow WDW Fourth of July guests. :earsboy: Magic Kingdom has scheduled the holiday fireworks for both July 3 and July 4.The holiday fireworks at Disney/MGM Studios are scheduled for July 4 at 9:00 PM and the holiday version of IllumiNations at Epcot is scheduled for July 4 at 10:00 PM.So,by going to Magic Kingdom for the fireworks on July 3,watching the fireworks at Disney/MGM Studios and then immediately walking to Epcot to watch the holiday fireworks on July 4,it will be possible to see all THREE park's holiday fireworks shows! :) I plan on seeing this "tripleheader".Anybody else? :earsboy:

We will be there on July 4 but I was going to avoid the Parks. :earboy2: But thanks for the tips I might feel brave later

How did you find out? We will be there and booked PS for MK to see the fireworks, you your idea sounds great too! Aughh! Now I don't know what to do!!!! :rotfl: Have to talk to hubby tonight!!!

I want to go to Disney today!!! :rotfl2:

Thanks for the update! We'll be one of the many crazy ones there during the park's busiest time! :rotfl2: Are the July 4 fireworks at MK, similiar to Wishes...just a more elaborate showing? or something totally different? We will be at Epcot for the entire July 4 day and then have the Wishes Cruise schedule for July 5.

They did this last year also. If you get the chance don't miss the fireworks at Epcot. They were awesome last year.

We did the "doubleheader" 2 years ago (they didn't have the holiday fireworks at MK the day before, or we would've). It was AMAZING!!! I would definitely do it again - wish I was going to be there this year!

I obtained the information through an internet search.I think the Magic Kingdom fireworks are going to be Fantasy in the Sky with the 360 degree perimeter fireworks, but I don't know for sure. Also,by exiting Epcot immediately after the fireworks through the International Gateway, walking to the Beach Club and boarding a Downtown Disney bus,it will be possible to also see the Midnight fireworks at Downtown Disney on July 4! :) :earsboy:

Disney may have decided to just show the holiday fireworks at Magic Kingdom on July 4 only. The WDW website is now showing Wishes for July 3 and Fantasy in the Sky for July 4.Hopefully someone will came along with more information. :)

The WDW website has now changed the fireworks on July 3 from Wishes to Fantasy in the Sky,so evidently it is now official. The holiday fireworks will indeed be shown on July 3 and July 4.Also,the hours are now 9:00 AM-1:00 AM on July 3 and 8:00 AM-1:00 AM on July 4 with 2 performances of Share A Dream Come True and 2 performances of Spectromagic each day! :)

We're going to Cehf Mickey's & then hitting the pool! :teeth:

RRRR we were planning on hitting MK on the 3rd! Now I don't know about that. Do you think this will make it even more crowded? on the 3rd... :confused3

Trusted your advice back then and re-arranged our PS's! :wave2: Now doing MK on Sunday 7/3 and MGM on 7/4! Thinking about trying to book over to Epcot right after Sorcery to catch Illuminations too! :bounce: Thanks for the early inside info back in May! :cool1:

We have been to WDW many times over the 4th and this is exactly what we have always done.

Mk on the 3rd, MGM on the 4th, quick walk to Epcot for the last one. Never had a problem Plus we stay at the Swan, so makes it very easy.

Just FYI,

If you don't want to rush on the 4th and get your Illuminations spot early, if you stay on the Future World side of World Showcase, you can EASILY see and hear the fireworks at MGM, there isn't even an obstructed view. It's plain as a clear day.

A Magical time and enjoy the fireworks. :goodvibes  :wizard: :wave2:

OK, now a show of hands for all DISers who will be a MK on the 3rd......I'm hoping to see some lime green!!!!!!! :cheer2:

Go DIS! :bounce:
