To make a cup of tea .

1.Boil kettle.
2.Add tea leaves to tea pot.
3.Add boiling water to tea pot.
4.Place strainer over cup. Pour from tea pot.
5.Add milk and sugar if required after removing the strainer.
6.Drink and enjoy.

Veronica,
I tried your delicous sounding recipe for a cup of tea - but I had no success!

I boiled the KETTLE as per your instructions (I used the roasting pot) and then I added the tea leaves and water to the tea pot but I never did get to sit down and drink my tea because the roasting pot with the kettle in it has been whistling nonstop for the past 3 hours! When will it [the kettle] be boiled enough and what do I do with it once it is done?

Oh Pam, you poor thing! I'm sure the roasting pot was just too big in this case, you could be there for days! Maybe try a large saucepan next time?

The water in the roasting pan finally boiled itself down to nil around 5:00 am this morning. Next time I will definitely try the saucepan like you recommended!

Alas - when I went to drink my cuppa at 5:00 am, it had grown quite cold, Now I will have to start all over again!
