tip for roon service?

Havn't tried room service on my bast DCL trips but I might on the next one...Do you tip room service deliveries?

Yes, at least $2.00 for a small delivery and $5.00 for full meals. BTW soft drinks are not free from room service, only at the restaurants and drink station.

We tipped between $3 and $10 depending on what they were bringing. It is a feet in itself just for those kids to get the trays into the room..be generous.

Our servous was always fast..we never waited more that
10 or 15 minutes for anything. This really surprised us..since everytime we ordered we were told it would be 30-40 minutes.

My kids would order room service late at night the night staff got to know them because they were very generours with their tips.

A tip to room service is not required, but is certainly appreciated by the servers. A couple dollars is about the norm....although more is certainly appropriate for a full meal. We usually bring a supply of $1 bills for this purpose.

We always order room service...especially helpful to fill the tummy after being out so late at night. They get to know us very well and then even call to make sure everything was to our liking. We also tip very well.

It's also fun to get a supply of $2 bills just for this purpose. Fewer bills to carry and it tends to get a reaction, especially when buying coffee at the airport.

The best room service we ordered wa cookies. Each night we got 6 chocolate chip and 6 oatmeal raisin. Man, did that hit the spot.

I will say that the room service deliverers did not hang around waiting for a tip, but I could tell it was appreciated.
