i don't understand how your gpa is. mine is on a 4.0 scale. what is equal to a 4.0 the way they do yours?

I have no idea at all. One of the things we had to fill out on our sheet today was our ideal GPA average. I asked the counselor how to put it, and she said either way so I put 3.5.

I'll try to find something to convert it.

Well, since apparently we're bragging and I didn't catch on earlier this is where I stand:

28 in a class of 196 (I used to be 23 out of 236, making me top ten percent...look at how much my class has shrunk and the five people the edged in front of me). My GPA is roughly 3.72. I scored a 1950 on the SATs, a 1700 on the PSATs, and grabbed a 3 on the AP US History Exam. I made a 630 on the US History SAT II, a 590 on the French SAT II (both listening and reading each. Same score. Really weird.), and a 530 on the Math I SAT II. I'm in French National Honor Society and National Honor Society. I was awarded a Dean's Scholarship if I attend UNH. 3 year Varsity Letterwoman on the outdoor track team (and this year will make 4, plus I think I might make captain). 1 year Varsity Letterwoman on the volleyball team (I had a huge argument with my coach over my letter for last year. She wouldn't give it to me because I didn't play in enough games. I didn't play because I was sidelined per orders of the AT). 1 year Varsity Letterwoman for the Indoor Track team (it only ran 1 year. not enough funding this year) and school record holder in the indoor shot put.

Yeah. That's all I've got.

That's awesome. We take bio as sophomores here and it's pretty much open admissions. They had to have two sessions of it this year. I think they need to be more strict with who gets in, though. SOme of thie kids really don't belong in a class that hard.

I need a good brag today. I was told Friday I'd made it into National Honor Society so I'm pretty pumped. Out of 38 entries they picked 8.
I'm number 7 in my sophomore class (We have about 115 people) and making a 3.8 GPA last time I checked. woohoo.
Applied for Quill and Scroll, so hopefully I get accepted into that too.

I am 175 out of 516 or something like that.
I did bad in rank because we have too many straight A people.
My GPA is 3.6, too.

My friend has straight A's, has honors and 1 AP and yet is only like, in the 30s or 40s ranking. It is crazy.

It's like a writing club.
"Quill and Scroll is an international high school journalism honor society that recognizes and encourages both individual and group achievements in scholastic journalism"
Wikipedia summed it up better than I could. Lol.

But our school also includes creative writing mixed into that.
