Tiny problem: should I alter our park day plans to catch a concert at Epcot?

I have our Fastpasses, ADR's, etc and only have a month to go! Yay!! But of course now that the Garden Rocks concert schedule is out, I'm a little bummed that I don't have our Epcot day when I can see Dennis Deyoung & the music of Styx. I'd LOVE to see him/them. But we are going to Hollywood Studios that day and don't have hoppers. Getting Hoppers is not an option for me.

1) Has anyone seen Dennis Deyoung is it as great as I'm thinking it will be (amazing)?

2)Are the Garden Rocks concerts really short & sweet and is the audio set up that you can hear and see pretty good...are there seats or is it a stand around thing?

3)In your opinion, is it worth giving up our fastpasses....as there is no chance I can get the big rides with only a month to go. And FP are already "sold out" for Epcot for the rides we want.

The Garden Rocks concerts are usually pretty short, they perform several times over the course of the afternoon/evening so each set goes rather quickly. They perform at the American Gardens Theater which is outdoors so there is a lot of bench seating but you can see/hear just fine if you're standing on the pavement in front of the theater as well.

As for your other questions, maybe someone else can jump in about Dennis DeYoung-I've never seen him. And really only you can decide if you want to give up your plans for HS to to see him.

Have seen him, wasn't thrilled but I remember the young Styx, actually were listening to them on my first date with my ex-husband.
Yes the concerts are short, I think they do 3 a night
You can hear it even as far down as France, or at least I can.
There are seats if you get there early enough and you can stand
Can't answer whether it's worth it to give up FPs, everyone's worth it is subjective and I rarely make FPs.

I saw Dennis DeYoung with Styx about 15 years ago and it was AWESOME, and I really wish he was playing while we were there! So of course I would switch, but of all the Garden Rocks performers he's probably the one I'd want to see the most.

Definitely short and sweet and you can hear from outside the theater. We were there in November on the Boyz II Men concert night. We sat at some picnic tables outside American Adventure and listened to the whole concert. It was great. I hated that we didn't actually "see" them, but it was worth not waiting in line to get a seat in the theater.
