I'm getting hooked on shooting these little guys. They are quite difficult to catch sometimes, but when you get a good shot it is quite rewarding.

i thought everything was bigger in texas...ohio buzzards are much much larger:lmao:
i haven't seen hardly any this yr though..you think it's hard getting them at a feeder, try chasing them around flowers...those buggers move fast:rotfl:
nice photos as usual, wonder if anyone knows the variety of mark's unless they are females( never noticed if both have the red throat or not)... ohio only has ruby throated ( which i think the other set are) but i know other places in the US have other kinds

Those buzzards I shot are 3 feet across! They just look small in the pics. Actually, they are Colorado buzzards. I shot them in Estes Park.

I'm in my tent in the Grand Tetons now. The weather has been bad and my pictures worse. Don't expect to see many from this part of the trip. We'll be in Yellowstone tomorrow. Hopefully things will be better there.
