I am planning on touring Fantasyland our first day at MK, which has EMH. I had planned for us to meet Tink on our 2nd day at MK. We have an ADR at CRT at 8:20 am and then I planned to go to the Tink M&G and then tour the rest of Adventureland in the morning, and Tomorrowland in the afternoon.

I'm trying to decide if we should keep that schedule since the M&G location has changed That would put us walking against the flow at ~9:20am. Or we've got an ADR at Tony's at 5:10, so we could try Tink after that.

Right now we are using our FP on A&E (12:30), C&R (1:50), and Buzz Lightyear (4:10). I guess I could trade the Buzz FP for Tink, but that would put us doing all of Tomorrowland with no FP on July 3. On the other hand, Tink is probably the higher priority for my 4 and 6 yr old daughters.

Any thoughts?

You said you planned to meet Tink on your second day at MK, can't you meet her as you walk into MK on the first day you are at MK? (Your non CP morning?)

By 9:20, you should be able to navigate from the hub to Town Square fairly easily. You can always take the shops as well.

Our first day there has EMH, and I wasn't sure if the new M&G would be open at 8. We were planning on heading straight to Ariel's Grotto and Under the Sea. If Tink is meeting guests during EMH, that would be great, and then we could skip the crowds headed to A&E and 7DMT.

If not, I suppose we'll stick to the day 2 plan if you think it'll be passable by 9:20.

Thanks for the quick feedback!

Daddy Mack, I keep going back and forth on this. I'll be interested to see what the feedback is on a higher crowd level day - whether there are any 4th FP to be had after noon. Maybe after Memorial Day I'll have a better idea.

Thanks!

Sorry to highjack, but where is Tink going? And when? We had the same plan, but now I can't find Tink at all on the disney site.

I don't know when are you going and whether the crowds would affect this or not, or even how late you plan on staying at the park, but last week after 9:30 pm Under the Sea was a walk on and Ariel's Grotto had no one in line. That corner of the park tends to get deserted pre-fireworks. It was awesome. My daughter and I then watched fireworks from Gaston's Tavern, which is a nice uncrowded location with a great view + you can pull out the bar stools from the outdoor dining area and have a seat watching the fireworks.

Also, apart from my Ariel advice above, I would try to FP as many character greetings as possible. Character greetings standby -- when FP is available -- go slow because those with the FPs are given preference. And under your scenario I would be worried that many people -- scared by the Anna/Elsa horde -- would do the Tink M&G as their first thing to do in the park since it is right there.

I would move up your Buzz FP in time or switch it out for Tink. I would bet that both will be available as your 4th FP when the first three are used.

She's going to Town Square, I think starting May 20.

Sorry, I don't have enough posts to be allowed to link to the article.

The downside (other than throwing a wrench in my touring plans ;) is that it will just be Tink (no Rosetta, Periwinkle, etc.).

I cannot imagine Buzz would be gone that early. But no one knows until we see the stress of a high crowd day. But Buzz is fast loading attraction and character greetings are not, so I think standby for Buzz would still be better than waiting on a character meet.

We'll be there on July 3, so I'm guessing the crowd level will be a 10 (it's also evening EMH, which we won't be staying for, but that's the day we were able to get into CRT). I'm hoping to stay all day b/c the fireworks are at 9pm, which means it's our best chance to get our kids to stay up late enough to watch them. But it all depends on the weather, the kids' breaking points, my DH's breaking point, etc.

Thanks for the tip about Gaston's Tavern! It will be our first time watching the fireworks at MK, so I'm tempted to get the standard straight on view. But avoiding crowds would probably be even more enjoyable!
