where did you hear this? i have a client leaving on 4/22 and i just checked the refurb list. it just said something generic like, "parts of fantasyland and mickey's toontown fair will be closing in spring 2010 to make way for the fantasyland changes" or something like that. didn't specify what and when. just wondering so i can give them a head's up.

oh, and you are SO not chubby! i've seen where you've been working out on FB. you go!!!! i'm starting to get a belly and i feel SO bloated all the time. i'm already uncomfortable. i told ray i don't know how fat people do it!

I definitely am chubby though, clothes hid some of it! I feel so much better that I'm working out now, thank you! I'm also on weight watchers...I am going to announce my weight loss when I weigh myself next week since the trip is definitely one of my motivators. Sorry to hear about your bloating! That's so funny what you said to Ray but true!

I just read that the only parts of Fantasyland that will be closed are Ariel's Grotto, Pooh's Playful Spot and Scuttle's Landing. Someone posted on the official Fantasyland Q&A thread that Toontown shouldn't be closing until early 2011. I've also read that Dumbo shouldn't close until the brand new one is about to open.

I'm pretty sure Jill said she read April 11th for Ariel's Grotto shutting down. That's one of Brooklynn's favorite stops.

right after i saw that on this thread, i saw it on FB and now on the news updates on the disboards. news travels fast!

I just read about Pooh's Playful Spot closing, too! Bummer, because my little gal loved that play area our last trip. I was hoping to get some more play time in there. Oh well.

I vote for IASW for the little guy's first ride. That way, the whole family can ride with him and watch his reactions. Plus, it's a tame ride, slow moving, so it shouldn't scare him. (I don't know if he get's apprehensive easily or not). My little gal loved seeing Dumbo from afar, but was too scared too actually go on it. I hope we'll have better luck this trip. I think her first ride at WDW ended up being the Nemo clamshell ride.

I also submit a vote for IASW for the little guy's first ride!! Landon was SOOOOOO tired when we took him on that but he was just so completely mesmerized by it all that he loved it. Landon's first ride was the iconic Dumbo!! I think that would be another good first one too!!

We plan to take detailed pictures of all the changes we see taking place when we are there for Mother's Day. It will be interesting to see the changes that take place from May to July to October pictures.

Sorry to everyone who was playing this game fairly but tinkgurl and I have decided we need to end it due to the cheating that is going on. It is obvious some people are cheating and it's sad that in a game that was supposed to be fun (not to mention one with out a "real" prize) people can't just play fairly the right way. Tink and I are pretty upset about this but it's just not fun or worth it to keep a game going where people are cheating. We're going to try and think of another game that would be impossible to cheat on. In the meantime, we'll be back with some trip related stuff shortly

Aww, bummer about stopping the game! I'll admit that when I didn't know I would look at what some people put but that's why I wouldn't guess.

Thanks for all the celebrating guys! It's almost down the 3 more months! The excitement is truly unbearable at times

We'll be back a little later today with our next day or two of plans for you all.

Oh and I've been waiting to hit a certain mark to tell you guys this...for about 3-4 weeks or so I've been doing Weight Watchers with my mom and also going to the gym regularly (Lucille Roberts if anyone has them near their town) taking fitness classes and running on the treadmill. Well, I weighed myself yesterday and....I lost 10 pounds!!! I'm sooooo happy and I definitely feel it in my clothes and can see it in my face. The fact that I have lost is making me very motivated to keep going. I'd ideally like to lose another 20 lbs but 10-15 lbs would be good for me too. I didn't want to post anything until I'd made some time of significant loss but there ya have it, I'm a woman on a mission!!
