Am I correct that Tinkerbell flies before the fireworks?

Weather permitting. Usually if it's really windy or rainy they won't have her fly.

It is wonderful to see. Makes you feel like a kid again. Just returned from WDW with my DBF's little brother & sister. They loved seeing Tink so much...they got all choked up & teary

I am having Tinkerbell leave my dd a note in the room with a light up Tinkerbell wand inviting her to come see her fly.

Come see me fly before the fireworks.
Make sure you use this wand so I know where to find you.

Actually, Tink doesn't fly until a few minutes after the start of "Wishes." She's all lit up now, and looks great! It makes ME teary eyed, and I'm far from being a kid (I have teenaged grandchildren).

Our last trip,I didn't tell my kids Tink was going to fly over us. I picked a great spot (thanks DIS board tips) and the expressions on their faces 15,12 & 5, were priceless! BTW, we were sitting on a bench right by the Walt & Mickey statue.We had to "camp" out there a good 45 min.before the fireworks,but it was WELL worth it!

We watched wishes from the same spot, only we were standing. It is such a magical moment.

We love to watch tink from the tomorrowland statue/gate ... she ends her flight just past that area so you get a really good look at her.
As a side note during MNSSHP it is not tink that flies but a witch in her place which is kind of cool too ...

Well, Here a still photo I took from one of the homevideos I shot about a week ago when we went.

Now I understand that the picture isn't that great (because of the zoom), but I thought I'd post it so u could have a better idea of what it looked like.

While see "flies" out nothing else is happening in the sky; no fireworks at all. Fireworks do appear immediately before and after she does.

It's a VERY POWERFUL moment!

OK so where does Tink stop and start?
My dd 11 loves her and since she's getting too cool for most things I want to make sure we have a great spot to see her.

If you look up at the castle on the right side as you're facing the front, you'll see the wire (don't let your daughter catch you). She flies from near the top of the castle to behind or on top of one of the buildings towards Tomorrowland. If you stand on or near the bridge leading from the hub to Tomorrowland, she'll fly right over your head!!

DH and I went to WDW in May and watched Wishes from the bridge between the hub and Tomorrowland....I told him that was the best place to see Tink fly but did NOT tell him that Tink was a real person! I'm not quite sure what he was expecting but the fact that she was REAL just blew him away. It was all he talked about for the rest of the evening!

We got a great view of her as she was comming down. We were standing on a small patch on the end of Main Street before the bridge to Tomorrowland. It is very cool to see!!!!


The first time we saw Wishes (last March) we stood over by Crystal Palace. It was my mom, my best friend, her mom, and I and we all thought that "Tinkerbelle" was just a spark of light but the next time we went (July) we found out differently

WHen and where do you see the witch fly also? I want to see Tink, but my boys would probably prefer the witch, they say they are too old for Tink.
