Please be careful wherever you choose to stay. Thank God these women are going to be okay, and HUGE kudos to Disney for treating them so well.

That's terrible.

It's unfortunate that they had to miss the race after working to raise the money, but there's still a lot for them to be thankful for following that serious of an ordeal. Second on the kudos to Disney and runDisney for their actions after hearing about the incident.

Let that be a warning to would be attackers. Runners, especially those attempting a half or full marathon, are determined and are a tuff bunch. Glad all are ok!

The hotel was next to the one we stayed at. The mart that they took footage from was where we got our Gatorade. It's just scary.

I was there the same time. I am glad they were not killed. people should of been notified at the time. I felt unsafe walking to disneyland one homeless guy tried to shove in to me lucky my husband was there and grabbed me. I will never run another race at disneyland again.
Those poor woman. I asked how the area around disney Land was and people got offended.

I am sticking to DisneyWorld for races. I hope those ladies did not get stuck with a big medical bill.
