Tinkerbell Meet and Greet coming to Toontown?

I was curious if anyone has heard anything about the creation (in the works) of a meet and greet with Tinkerbell and the other Fairies at Toontown? I read it somewhere on the internet, and wanted to ask all the experts/insiders here if that might be true. I have mixed feelings about that...for one, as a huge Tink fan, I am frightened of the concept of coming face-to-face with a fairy grown life-size (Figzilla comes to mind)! But at the same time, I'd love to have THAT picture on my desk! Anything?

You may have heard the rumors involving a Tink meet and greet coming to Disneyland. Supposedly, Ariel's Grotto will be rethemed to Tink and Ariel will move over to the Princess Fantasy Faire by IASW.

Did your friend in Entertainment mention the BIG casting announcement a month or so ago for Tinkerbell and her friends from the Disney Faeries line? 'Cause I have nothing to do with Entertainment and even I saw that.

A Tinkerbell Meet & Greet is something I've heard rumors about for a long time... either in Toontown or where the Fantasyland Skybucket building now sits.

I just heard today that Tinker Bell will be getting a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame next year. Perhaps the meet & greet will be unveiled around that time.

I've read that on the Backlot tour at DHS they show you where they are making the scenery for Tink's meet and greet and said that it should be open by the end of the year.

If they were going to do this, the only way they can do it and make it work is they have to put us (visitors) in a shrinking machine shrink us down and put us inside tinks house that way we are her size not the reverse. This would go a long way with disney magic. I think it's a great idea.

A Tinkerbell meet and greet doesn't make sense in Toontown. But it does in Fantasyland, and I think it would be neat.

I think Toontown would be a good place for a Tink meet and greet because they could theme the room. It would be a nice, cool, controlled environment. The line would probably tend to get REALLY long, but I think it would work out well.

As far as when it may happen, what about when the Tinkerbelle movie is released on DVD in fall? It incorporates all of the Fairies and it would be a great way to promote the movie. Just a thought though.

I love this idea! Think of the theming for that attraction. They could sprinkle pixie dust on us to make us Tinkerbell size.

Pixie dust is a perfect idea. My daughter would love to meet tink. She was able to wake tinkerbell when we were there in 2007. Sence then shes been hooked on tink.
